HELP MEDIAN/ALEXANDER WALK WITHOUT PAIN
Meet a kitten who was named Median when he was adopted because a couple rescued him from the median of a busy highway. Amelie Nolen adopted him last weekend and has named him Alexander. He is 8 weeks old. What none of us knew was that his back left leg is broken up near the hip joint. He is able to walk but has a limp and is in pain from the ends of the broken bone rubbing against each other. The surgery will remove the ball from his hip joint and the leg bone down to the break. Alexander will be able to compensate for the missing joint and will be able to walk and jump almost normally as he grows up. He will have a bit less strength in that leg, but will still be able to live a normal happy life. As you can see he is a happy little guy even through the pain. His surgery estimate from Banfield is $600. Please if you can help with Alexander’s surgery donate directly from either our webpage (https://catsareus.wordpress.com/ways-to-help-us/) or petfinder.com (http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/TN285.html) or you can contact Banfield Pet Hospital at (855) 290-9773 and pay money directly towards the account … He is still listed under Median so far. If that changes we will alert you here. Please help Alexander receive the surgery he needs to finally be out of pain and live a normal happy life with his new adopted family.
